Definitions

'Subscription' is the service received by a subscriber in return for fees payable to the Publisher, whether on an annual, six-month or weekly basis.

Information & Availability

Whilst we take every care to ensure that the information on this website is accurate and complete, some of it may be supplied to the publisher by third parties and we are unable to check its accuracy or completeness. You are advised to verify the accuracy of any information before relying on it.

Further, due to the inherent nature of the Internet, errors, interruptions and delays may occur in the service at any time. Accordingly, this website is provided "AS IS" without any warranties of any kind and we do not accept any liability arising from any inaccuracy or omission in the information or interruption in availability.

The Publisher shall make every endeavour to assure availability of its online service at www.libyamonitor.com and its sub-domains

Service availability shall be judged by access to the services from the Publisher’s offices in London.

The Publisher shall not be liable for service interruptions caused by carrier or telecommunications network failures. These are beyond its control and are not consequential liabilities owned by the Publisher.

Subscriptions to Libya Monitor are supplied to named individuals on the basis of one concurrent user session only. This service is to include access to the site at www.libyamonitor.com and its sub-domains. Subscribers who purchase multiple-user accounts will be provided with login details for each user, which are supplied on the basis of one concurrent user session only.

Access to the site at www.libyamonitor.com and its sub-domains is subject to password-protection. Only named users in possession of passwords and user IDs known to the Publisher are authorised users. Subscribers will do nothing which would assist anyone who is not a registered user to gain access to any registration area of Libya Monitor, nor will they assist anyone who is not a subscriber to gain access to subscription products.

User ID and password protection information is the property of the Publisher. The Publisher will not divulge the user ID and password combination to any third party outside of its user authentication processes. The Publisher abides by and is governed by the current data protection legislation of the United Kingdom.

Upon receipt of the user details the Publisher shall take reasonable measures to make the site accessible through the supply of a user id and password combination to the user directly via email. Terms of access do not materially affect copyright restrictions.

Copyright applies on all materials, content articles and information provided under the terms of a subscription to Libya Monitor.

Subscribers shall be liable for any consequential loss or damage to the intellectual property held by Libya Monitor.

This includes, but is not limited to abuses such as:

 

·         Copying on paper or in electronic format.

·         Use of Libya Monitor or Frontier logos for publicity or implied endorsement purposes.

·         Use of Libya Monitor articles or content for publicity or implied endorsement purposes.

·         Circulation of editorial via email.

·         Amendment or misrepresentation of Libya Monitor content or editorial.

·         Citation in particular of Libya Monitor without attribution.

·         Research findings reported without attribution to Libya Monitor where applicable.

·         Subscribers and all third parties should clear all uses of quotes, citations or any material from Libya Monitor with the publisher directly.

Subscription and content purchases

Frontier makes subscriptions available to all who wish to use its information for legitimate and non-competitive purposes. It does this at a reasonable cost and welcomes subscription enquiries.

However Frontier reserves the right to refuse requests for  subscriptions without providing a reason.

 

We will try to proess your subscription promptly but do not guarantee that your subscription will be activated by any specific time. By submitting your payment and other subscription details, you are making an offer to us to buy a subscription or weekly content. Your offer will only be accepted by us and a contract formed when we have successfully verified your payment details and email address, at which point we will provide you with access to the content you have purchased. We reserves the right to reject any offer in its discretion, for any or no reason.

When you subscribe or purchase weekly content you must provide us with complete and accurate payment information. By submitting payment details you promise that you are entitled to purchase a subscription or content using those payment details. If we do not receive payment authorization or any authorization is subsequently cancelled, we may immediately terminate or suspend your access to your subscription or content and may in suspicious circumstances contact the issuing bank/payment provider and/or law enforcement authorities/other appropriate third parties.

If you are entitled to a refund under these terms and conditions we will credit that refund to the card or other payment method you used to submit payment, unless it has expired in which case we will contact you.

If you buy a subscription or weekly content using a corporate credit card than we will treat your subscription or temporary access pass as being for the benefit of both you and the relevant company.

Pricing

The subscription or weekly content price will be made clear to you on our shopping cart pages or otherwise during the sign-up process and may vary from time to time. You agree to pay the fees at the rates notified to you at the time you purchase your subscription. We will always tell you in advance of any increase in the price of your subscription and offer you an opportunity to cancel it if you do not wish to pay the new price.

All prices are expressed as exclusive of any VAT where applicable, unless otherwise stated.

Renewals

If you select the auto-renew option when purchasing your subscription, we will charge the subscription using the same card or other payment method that you previously used. We will notify you in advance of any changes to the price in your subscription that will apply upon renewal.

Please see the “Cancellations and refunds” section below for details of how to cancel your subscription.

Cancellations and refunds

Unless you cancel your subscription before we have started providing any part of it to you (in which case we will provide you with a full refund), then you agree that once we have started providing any part of your subscription to you, you do not have any right to cancel your subscription or any part of it until the end of your then current subscription period. This means that you are not entitled to a refund once we have started providing any part of your subscription to you, except in very limited circumstances.

Although you may notify us of your intention to cancel at any time, such notice will only take effect at the end of your then current subscription period. You may notify us of your wish to cancel your subscription by contacting us on sales@libyamonitor.comor by telephone on +44 207 653 1914.

Frontier reserves the right to suspend or terminate your subscription if you breach these terms and conditions, with or without notice and without further obligation to you. You will not be entitled to any refund in these circumstances.

If however we terminate or suspend your subscription for any other reason and/or permanently cease publishing Libya Monitor or cease to provide subscription services then, unless there are exceptional circumstances, we will provide you with a pro rata refund, which means that we will refund you with any amounts that you have paid us in advance that relate to any remaining and unexpired period of your subscription.

Frontier also reserves the right to cancel subscriptions that are purchased by companies or individuals which we deem to be in competition with our own services. In these cases Frontier will refund the cost of subscription or content access. 

Submitted Content

Any text, images, audio or other content submitted to this site becomes the sole property of the Publisher.

Other Promotions & Competitions

From time to time, we (or selected third parties) may include competitions, promotions or other offers on this site. Each such offer shall be subject to its own express terms and may not be available in all jurisdictions.

Links To Other Sites

On this Web site you may be offered automatic links to other Web sites. Whilst We hope you will be interested in those Web sites, you acknowledge that their owners may be independent from the publisher. The publisher does not endorse or accept any responsibility for their content.

Computer Viruses

We will use reasonable endeavours to ensure that the Web site does not contain or promulgate any viruses or other malicious code. However it is recommended that you should virus check all materials downloaded from the Web site and regularly check for the presence of viruses and other malicious code. Language 

In the event of conflict or inconsistency between the terms of the English version of this Agreement and any translation provided by Us, the English version shall prevail.

The Publisher reserves the right to vary the terms and conditions of this Agreement from time to time. Such variations become effective immediately upon the posting of the varied Agreement on the Web site. By continuing to use the Web site you will be deemed to accept such variations.
