ARCHIVE: Libya buys stake in Sudan's Gemtel

The Libya African Investment Portfolio (LAP) has purchased an 80% stake in the Sudanese telecommunications operator, Gemtel. The deal was signed by the LAP’s telecommunications arm, LAP Green Networks.
