ARCHIVE: Focus on Libyan investment in Africa

In late December, the African Union (AU) said that it was considering the establishment of a $4bn pan-African Investment Bank which would be active across the continent. Although it remains to be seen whether the project will actually materialise, it is significant that Tripoli has been announced as the bank’s planned headquarters.
